Australian dance royalty Bag Raiders have been stalwarts in the electronic music community for more than a decade. Jack Glass and Chris Stracey signed to Modular Records and released their debut self-titled album in 2010. With that, the game changed forever. The LP featured the smash hit singles ‘Way Back Home’, ‘Sunlight’, ‘Snake Charmer’ and of course festival anthem ‘Shooting Stars’ – which has gone onto become one of the biggest Australian dance tracks of all-time, amassing over 4 billion online streams, achieving 32 Platinum and 7 Gold plaques worldwide and delivering a cultural impact beyond anyone’s wildest expectations.
Having relocated to LA, Bag Raiders released a stack of highly-praised EP’s ‘Waterfalls’, ‘Checkmate’ and ‘Friend Inside’, plus singles ‘Nairobi’ and ‘Beat Me to the Punch’ ft. Mayer Hawthorne. In 2019 Bag Raiders released their second LP ‘Horizons’ featuring ‘How Long’ ft. Panama and ‘Lightning’ and a sold-out tour across North America and Australia.
In 2022 Bag Raiders launched their label Broken Head Records and a return to their dancefloor roots with ‘UR Heart’, ‘Never Forget’ and 'Letting Go'. ‘Love Me Back’ entered the fray in 2023 featuring vocals from Meg Mac and a killer Hi-NRG groove that saw the duo return to North America, Mexico, Australia and Indonesia for more extensive touring.
The boys are back for summer 2023/24 with a brand-new live show, festival appearances including Sydney Opera House and a killer new double A-side featuring house banger ‘Right Here’ and 70s wonky disco number ‘Saliba’. You might have also heard Bag Raiders’ collaboration with Troye Sivan and the official sample of ‘Shooting Stars’ on his global smash-hit single ‘Got Me Started’.
