Some BIG names announced early for 2025...

St Kilda Festival 2025 is just around the corner and we're so excited to have you back in our neighbourhood for yet another edition of our iconic event!

On Saturday 15 and Sunday 16 February, we'll bring you yet another jam-packed weekend featuring some of the best bands and artists in the country, summer festivities, family fun, and all-round good times.

Our full program is dropping very soon but we thought we'd give you a little taste of what you can expect at this year's event...

So, time to get pumped for these three stellar artists joining us at St Kilda Fest this summer:

PETER GARRETT & THE ALTER EGOS

Peter Garrett is one of our most prominent living Australians.  The renowned activist, former politician, and lead singer of Midnight Oil is a long-time campaigner on a range of local and global issues.
Following the release of his 2015 memoir “Big Blue Sky”, he returned to making music with his debut solo album, “A Version Of Now”. In 2017 he and Midnight Oil regrouped, recording new albums which each reached #1 on the ARIA charts before doing their final concert tour in 2022.
In March 2024 Peter released “The True North”. This deeply personal release was accompanied by a national tour with Peter’s band The Alter Egos, featuring Midnight Oil’s Martin Rotsey on guitar.

JEM CASSAR-DALEY

As the enchanting siren of Australia's indie-pop realm, Jem Cassar-Daley has been a radiant fixture on the music stage since her debut in 2021. Amassing a trove of accolades and acclaim that have firmly etched her name as a rising star of the Australian music scene, notably the prestigious title of being named 2024 Queensland Music Awards – Best Pop Award winner and 2024 Queensland Music Awards - Song Of The Year winner – King of Disappointment. AIR Music Awards 2024 – Song of the year - King of Disappointment.
Beyond her musical prowess, Jem stands as a proud Gumbaynggirr/Bundjalung woman, inheriting a legacy of storytelling that informs her artistry.
