Five members of the band EGGY stand in front of a blurred forest backdrop. The band members predominantly wear dark colours but a bright metallic pink skirt stands out in the centre.

A band whose output is defined by a keen sense for change and
continuum, EGGY is an experimental, avant-pop/ alternative-rock band from Naarm (Melbourne) who keep their feet firmly planted in the DIY.

Taking notes from influences John Cale, Stereolab, and The BBC Radiophonic Workshop, their live show is an evolving shift of creative energy that bends to shape its environment, enveloping halls and ballrooms with piano and overdriven violin and consuming clubs and band rooms with saxophone and blown out riffs.

Their sophomore album ‘With Gusto’ was awarded AOTW at 3RRR and 4ZZZ, and listed in Henry Rollins top 11 albums of 2022. Now, their third album is lined up for release in March 2025.
