A person with shoulder-length hair sits in a moody, orange-toned setting, wearing an off-the-shoulder draped dress and plaid gloves. Their calm gaze and soft makeup, with a pop of red near the eyes, are highlighted by dramatic, warm lighting.

Allysha Joy is a deeply expressive singer, songwriter, producer, poet and musician hailing from Naarm (Melbourne).

Known for both her critically-acclaimed solo work and as lead vocalist for 30/70 Collective, this year marks a turning point in her stellar career. After years of collaborating with a range of artists from across the musical spectrum, her new LP ‘The Making Of Silk’ stands as a significant point of inner revelations and focus from one of the most vital artists to emerge in recent times.

For this, her third album, she’s taking it back to the truth of raw soul music, bringing her husky vocals, formidable Fender Rhodes prowess and raw poeticism, to the fore.
