The Harlots like to put bad dreams to music; they like to make it right by doing it wrong.
The Harlots have cultivated a ravenous fan base, resulting in a string of sell-out shows, international supports (Surfer Blood, The Commitments, Jesus Jones) and festival appearances (Queenscliff Music Festival, The Hills Are Alive and Cherry Rock). The release of their double EP Coarse Tunes, Parts 1 and 2 in 2013 was met with much acclaim critically.
The rhythm section always fills the dance floor, while haunting delay and filthy distortion makes it sweaty. The dreamy keyboards and synthesizers create a wall of sound that floats underneath story telling lyrics that can carry you away and yet, hit close to home.
