Georgia Mulligan's powerful yet subtle voice has earned her a following with performances in support of local and international acts, as well as airplay by Triple J and FBi radio.
With a startlingly nuanced voice that is at once commanding and tender, Georgia Mulligan's songs peel away at an emotional core that often goes unexamined. Though there is a degree of vulnerability to these songs, ultimately they are folk anthems of resistance - powerfully sung tales of the kind of everyday tragedy audience members understand innately.
Mulligan has built up a following in Sydney with her powerful performances in support of acts both local and international, including Julia Jacklin, Eleanor Friedberger (USA), The Grand Magoozi and Why We Run. Her debut EP Our Blood to Part, was released independently this year. She was recently shortlisted for Fbi's Northern Lights Competition.
